Анатомия
Тэддиурса похожа на маленького медвежонка. Всё её тело покрыто коротким оранжевым мехом, за исключением жёлтого рта и светло-бежевого рисунка месяца на лбу. У неё круглая голова с чёрными глазами и округлое тело с хвостом, похожим на помпон. На передних и задних лапах по три когтя на каждой. Внешностью она похожа на плюшевого медвежонка.
Характер
Теддиурса очень любит поесть. До зимнего периода, она копит пищу во многих укромных местам. Добывать пищу она может в том числе, обманывая тренеров и крадя у них пищу. Тем не менее она может быть отличной командой с друзьями. При опасности теддиурсы ищут защиты у урсаринга
Способности
Когда тэддиурса находит мёд, месяц на её голове светится. Она создает свой собственный мед, смешивая фрукты и собранную бидрилами пыльцу.
Обитание
И тедиурса и урсаринг предпочитают жить в горных регионах, но также они были обнаружены и в лесах.
Питание
Теддиурсы очень любят мёд, но также питаются ягодами и желудями.
В аниме
В третьем фильме «Заклинание анноунов». Молли сражается иллюзорной теддиурсой, а затем в конце фильма её показывают с настоящей теддиурсой.
В серии 188 «Надоедливый медведь». Теддиурсу показывают, как воришку,которая привлекала тренеров своей милой внешностью, а затем обкрадывала. При этом сваливала вину на других покемонов. В конце серии она превратилась в урсаринга.

Прообразом тэддиурсы били плюшевые медвежата и бируанг. Месяц на её голове может быть связан с легендой созвездия Малая Медведица.

Biology
Teddiursa is a bipedal, ursine Pokémon covered in short, orange-brown fur. Its muzzle is a light tan color with a small black nose and black eyes with white irises. There is a slightly paler tan crescent marking on its face, and it has round ears. It has three claws on its forepaws as well as two claws and yellow paw pads on its hind paws. Its tail is short, round, and puffy.
Teddiursa can use Beedrill´s pollen and fruit to create its own honey. The marking on its face could glow when it finds a honey already made. Honey tend to be absorbed into Teddiursa’s forepaws, and it is always seen licking them. It will hide food throughout its territory before food becomes scarce in winter. Teddiursa lives in mountainous forests.

Major appearances
Teddiursa debuted in Spell of the Unown: Entei, where Molly Hale used an illusion of one, created by the Unown, as her second Pokémon in her battle against Brock. It quickly defeated Vulpix with a combination of Dynamic Punch and Fury Swipes. She was later seen playing with a real Teddiursa during the ending credits.
Teddiursa made its main series debut in UnBEARable. It was a manipulative thief who would pretend to be cute to humans in order to steal their food and blame it on their Pokémon. Ultimately, it evolved into Ursaring at the end of the episode, and was thus no longer able to use its charm on humans with ease anymore.
In Going For A Spinda, a Teddiursa was disguised as a Spinda by Team Rocket. It was tied up in order to lure a Spinda to them, but instead, its Ursaring parent came and blasted them away.
In Leading a Stray!, multiple Teddiursa helped a Luxio free a Wailmer trapped in the sewers.
In The Brockster Is In!, Normajean’s Teddiursa was badly poisoned by a Tentacruel alongside several of her other baby Pokémon. It was then healed by a Softboiled from Brock’s Chansey.
In The Clumsy Crier Quiets the Chaos!, a Pokémon Breeder’s Teddiursa was playing with a Bidoof and a Linoone when they were all attacked by a rampaging Salamence. Teddiursa was then taken to a Pokémon Center and healed with the help of Nurse Joy and her Wigglytuff.
In The Power of Us, a Teddiursa befriended by Margo was targeted alongside a Ditto by Pokémon hunters looking for Zeraora. They were then saved by Zeraora, Ash, and his friends.

In Extreme Pokémon!, a baby Teddiursa was being cared for by Mr. Shellby.
In Gonna Rule The School!, the Pokémon Trainers’ School lent a Teddiursa to the school’s underage students for use in lessons.
